On-site massage
On-site chair massage therapy is a most effective and versatile technique supporting health and well being benefits. On-site massage is an effective respite and rejuvenation, helping you to reconnect with your body and give you a sense of overall well being. It can be carried out in the workplace, in health projects, community centres and at events, anywhere that has minimal disruption to maximise benefit for the client.
The on-site chair is specially adapted to be portable and adjustable to suit each individual's needs. It is uniquely designed to relieve pressure, allowing for maximum relaxation and comfort. The massage therapist works with the upper body i.e. the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and head, relieving stress and physical tension.
How does on-site chair massage work?
Each person is required to complete a safety form and verbal screening prior to their massage to ensure the therapist is aware of any injuries or ailments. This is required for the health and safety of the client enabling an understanding for both the therapist and client on how the session will proceed, with reference to the care and consideration of each individual client. During the therapy sessions, clothes remain on and no oils or creams are used. The therapist will apply an agreed pressure throughout, working with and listening to the needs of each client to create a tailored massage for the best well being outcomes.
Holistic Works have produced a guide to help businesses and organisations better understand what is involved in establishing on-site chair massage in the workplace or at an event etc. Please get in touch, and we will send you a copy of the guide and try to answer any questions that you might have.
